9. Pelvis and Ribcage Alignment: Review and Deepen
21m
This class revisits and deepens your understanding of the relationship between the pelvis and rib cage.
These two structures form the foundation for how the body organizes itself. When the rib cage and pelvis are well aligned in space, the diaphragm can move freely, pressure inside the body is distributed properly, and the deep stabilizing muscles of the core can work efficiently.
When this relationship is lost, the body often compensates by gripping through the neck, shoulders, lower back, or hips. Breathing becomes restricted, pressure is mismanaged, and the core struggles to support the body in a balanced way.
In this class, we return to where the rib cage ideally lives in relationship to the pelvis and why this alignment is so important for both breathing and movement. Understanding this relationship helps you recognize when the body begins to compensate and how to gently reorganize it.
You have already been introduced to these concepts earlier in the program. This class serves as a review and an opportunity to refine your awareness.
Mastering this relationship takes time and repetition. The more familiar your body becomes with this organization, the easier it is to access proper breathing, natural core engagement, and efficient movement throughout your day.
This concept may seem simple, but it is one of the most important foundations for building lasting support and alignment in the body.
