This class is a full reset for your nervous system, moving through three simple but powerful techniques that work together to bring your mind and body into a state of deep rest and release.
We live in a world that keeps us switched on. The nervous system adapts to that constant demand by staying alert, staying braced, staying ready. Over time this becomes the default setting, and what feels like normal is actually a body that has forgotten how to fully let go. This class is the antidote to that.
We begin with tapping, a somatic technique that works directly with the nervous system by stimulating specific points on the body to signal safety and release. Tapping is deceptively simple and remarkably effective at shifting the body out of a stress response and into a more open, receptive state. The first part of class can be done seated in a chair or in a comfortable position on the floor, making it accessible wherever you are and however you feel when you arrive.
From there we move into breathwork, using specific breathing patterns to deepen the relaxation response and bring the body further into a state of calm. Breath is the most direct tool we have for regulating the nervous system, and here we use it with intention.
We close with gentle hip and pelvic floor mobilization and release. The hips and pelvic floor are places where the body stores an enormous amount of held tension, often without us realizing it. Moving and releasing this area at the end of class allows everything that has been unwinding through the tapping and breathwork to fully settle, leaving the body open, grounded, and at ease.
No props are needed beyond a chair or comfortable place to sit for the first portion of class.
This class gives your nervous system full permission to reset, using three layered techniques that take you from switched on to deeply, genuinely at rest.

7. Understanding Alignment
In this class we explore alignment.
You will learn where each part of the body ideally lives in space and how it relates to the other parts of the body. We look at how the head stacks over the spine, how the rib cage relates to the pelvis, how the hips sit over the feet, and how the body supports... -
8. Combining Breath and Movement
In this class we begin combining breath, alignment, and movement.
Using a chair and pillow for support, we work in a seated position to explore the relationship between the pelvis and the rib cage. These two structures create the foundation for both breathing and core support.
When the pelvis and... -

This class revisits and deepens your understanding of the relationship between the pelvis and rib cage.
These two structures form the foundation for how the body organizes itself. When the rib cage and pelvis are well aligned in space, the diaphragm can move freely, pressure inside the body is di...
