This class continues the work of releasing tension in the shoulders while building the stability needed to support healthy posture.
Using a wall and a doorway or pole, we begin by opening the chest and releasing tightness through the upper back and shoulders. These areas often become restricted from daily posture habits, stress, and overuse of the neck and upper back muscles.
As tension begins to soften, we introduce gentle work to activate the stabilizing muscles of the upper back and shoulders. These muscles help support the shoulder blades and allow the arms to move with greater control and efficiency.
In this class you will also deepen your understanding of how the rib cage, shoulder blades, and core work together as a system. When these structures are organized well, the arms can move freely without unnecessary strain on the neck or upper back.
This class helps restore mobility through the chest and shoulders while strengthening the stabilizers that support healthy alignment and movement.
