This is an open level basics class with the intention of making you an intelligent mover, building a strong movement foundation so you can move well, feel your best, and create a resilient and youthful body. This moderate pace class brings your intention inwards, using breath to build awareness, mobilizations to decompress & lengthen, isolated and full body movements to build strength from the inside out.

    Episode 1

    It's Gyro without the chair! We'll use controlled, fluid movements to stimulate the nervous system, increase range of motion, and create functional strength.

    Episode 4

    A lot of sitting keeps your hip flexors in a shortened position = constricted muscles = tightness and pain throughout the body. We'll release the tension and create increased mobility and less pain.

    A glider class = our favorite Pilates reformer exercises with none of the heavy equipment.

    Props: 2 small towels (hand or dish etc) + open space on a hard, smooth surface (i.e. hardwood or kitchen tile) + a mat
