Glutes

Glutes

20 Episodes

From Queen to Destiny’s Child, the booty has been the focus of so many who’ve come before me and it’s all because your glutes are an important muscle group that needs to be strong in order for your body to feel + function well.

Strong glutes don’t just look great but are so important for our basic needs like posture + balance + keeping the rest of our body protected and pain free. The glutes play an integral part in our functional movement and show up for us to help stabilize our body when we stand up, push off to walk or run, and balance when twisting. When the glutes are weak (often from excessive sitting), we instinctively grip our butt to try to find that stabilization but that gripping manifests as low back, knee, hip flexor, and even foot pain.

This open-level series is about strengthening all of our glute muscles—from the smaller stabilizers (which are harder to activate) to the bigger outer muscles we use daily. We’ll create balance in our muscles to establish harmony, a cute booty + healthy hips, back, knees, and feet!
